You will to take the place of a person that needs to remove themselves from the trip. Basically, someone cancels, you take their spot on the trip. It is time to revisit this great area. Sam has scouted the area this last January and was impressed with all that Zermatt has to offer along with our lodging. It is a wonderful town with the ability to ski right off the mountain into town.
Our lodging at The Perren is a short walk to the Suneggabahn (underground funicular) & Gornergratbahn (cogwheel train up the mountain). No vehicles in Zermatt except for the local bus that will take you to the cable cars that deliver you near the Matterhorn. Zermatt is easy to get around and a fabulous town to walk.
Sit on the side of the mountain to enjoy fondue & white wine with the backdrop of the Matterhorn. It truly is breathtaking.
Following Zermatt, we will be transported to Nice, France on the French Riviera. A 30 min train ride to Monte Carlo, Monaco to mingle with the rich & famous. For the adventurous, vineyards abound, several hour beautiful train ride to Marseille France, the famous painter’s museum-Musee Matisse in Nice just to name a few.
